ELS Construction (PVT) Ltd has already started construction of a jetty of Trincomalee harbor for Tokyo Cement (PVT) Ltd. The purpose of the project is expanding the existing jetty facility in order to accommodate bigger vessels (32000DWT,175m LOA) and further improving loading and unloading process. The project worth approximately 1.2 Billion Rupees and we are proud to mention that ELS is well equipped to undertake marine construction of this scale.The project consists two of phases. Currently the 1st phase has been started. The expected duration of the phase one is 12 months.

The barge is equipped with a navigation system that can position and set out the pile position to an accuracy within 50mm. Steel tabulon piles of 20m long are lifted and driven with a 60MT crane mounted on the barge
