ELS International (Pvt) Ltd. was honored the Gold award for the Export of Business & Professional Services Sector (Large Category) at the 27th Annual NCE Export Awards 2019 held recently in Colombo. ELS International (Pvt) Ltd. received this award for its export performance and growth in exports achieved during the years encompassing various products and services, product and market development, financial management of the enterprise, quality of products and services, impact on the environment, improvements in productivity leading to efficient management of the enterprise, and special certifications including ISO certifications acquired by an enterprise over the years.

ELS International (Pvt) Ltd. received this award for its export performance and growth in exports achieved during the preceding three years encompassing various products and services, product and market development, financial management of the enterprise, quality of products and services, impact on the environment, improvements in productivity leading to efficient management of the enterprise, and special certifications including ISO certifications acquired by an enterprise over the years.
The 26th Annual NCE Export Awards organized by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) was held on 28th September 2018 in the Main Ballroom of the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo, with the Chief guest being the Netherlands Ambassador of Sri Lanka, Joanne Doornewaard. Over 50 Sri Lankan exporters of local products including agricultural, rubber, tea, gems, spice and spice-based products, and services providers such as overseas construction companies were felicitated at the ceremony.
The NCE which serves Sri Lankan exporters, and known as the ‘Voice of the Exporters’, has been conducting this event without a break since 1993. It encourages, recognizes and rewards excellence in exporters and service providers to exporters, who make an indispensable and vital contribution to sustain and expand the economy. Award winners have been selected from each of the three major areas – Export of Products, Export of Business and Professional Services, Suppliers and Service Providers to Exporters. The structure and content of the awards scheme and evaluation criteria has been continuously refined over the years with the inclusion of new features, to become the benchmark for similar award schemes in Sri Lanka. Awards in respect of the various product and services sectors was presented in the form of Gold, Silver, and Bronze trophies to applicants who reach the minimum standard set by an independent professional panel of judges representing the various disciplines related to exports.
This award is a great honor for the staff and employees who work for ELS International (Pvt) Ltd. in the Maldives and contribute to its construction work. This award was received by Director Mr. W.A.A.W. Bandara, Business Development Manager Mr. Hanshan Vithanage, and Country Manager – Manager (Maldives) Mr. Randil Asiri.

ELS received a National Award for Construction Performance of Kotagala Tunnel.Construction of Kotagala road tunnel by under passing the existing live railway track by ELS Construction Pvt Ltd has been a benchmark in Sri Lankan construction industry, as it is the 100% Sri Lankans built first road tunnel in the country.
This is the first National Award which was received by ELS group during wonderful journey of 25 years of success. The awards ceremony was held on 26th February 2018 at BMICH with the formidable presence of the President Maithripala Sirisena and Minister Sajith Premadasa.The award was handed over to ELS Directors by Minister Sajith Premadasa and Deputy Minister Indika Bandaranayaka.
The MASCO awards 2017, organized by the Mass Communication Association of Sri Lanka was held in Hotel Ramada in Colombo on 04th September 2017.The event was held under the auspices of the Speaker of parliament, Karu Jayasuriya.

The SLS mark on products covered by Sri Lanka Standard Institute is an assurance they have been produced to comply with requirements of the relevant standards under a well-defined system of inspection, testing and quality control, which is devised and supervised by the institution and operated by the producer.
The Certification Mark on a commodity or product signifies that the commodity or product is consistently manufactured in accordance with the relevant Sri Lanka Standard Specification and could be purchased with a reasonable assurance of quality. Compliance with the requirements of the specification is assured through regular monitoring of the quality assurance system through audits carried out by qualified Auditors of the Institution and product testing.
